Starting from summer 2022, Baltic Machinery is the official representative of Q-FIN in Baltic States. Q-FIN is a dutch manufacturer of metal deburring, grinding and finishing machines.
What could Q-FIN machines do?
Metal workpieces may have burrs after cutting with laser, plasma etc. To remove these sharp burrs deburring machine should be used. Grinding is a machining technique whereby material is removed with the use of an abrasive belt or grinding disc. With grinding you can remove burrs from a product, remove imperfections or apply a specific abrasive structure to the material.
The important thing for metal workpieces is edge rounding. Especially when products will be used by final customers. Q-FIN edge rounders could be used for different radius rounding. The model SER600 could round radius up to 2mm.
Q-FIN has a solution for removal of slags or oxidation marks which occurs after laser or plasma cutting. To remove a slag there is special model to choose – DS600 or DS1200 – for smaller or larger workpieces. Q-FIN SkipJoint will help you to remove the micro joints which has been left on the parts after laser cutting. To finish your workpiece and give him a perfect look Q-FIN machines will help you with line grain finishing, non-directional finishing or polishing.
Features of Q-FIN deburring and grinding
Q-FIN deburring, grinding and finishing machines are fast and efficient. The speed up to 8 m/s helps to save time and fulfill orders quickly. The Q-FIN grinding and finishing machines can process steel, stainless steel or aluminum parts up to 1500 mm wide.
Machines could be equipped with magnetic or vacuum tables. Magnetic tables are a good solution for steel workpieces. These tables perfectly attach small steel parts and could be used for larger stainless steel of aluminum pieces as well. If stainless steel or aluminum is used in production machine could be equipped with vacuum table.
Automatic or manual grinding?
Q-FIN offers automatic and manual grinding and finishing machines. To grind on both sides deburring line could be equipped with turnaround station Q2S which provides double-sided processing in batches at an unprecedented high throughput rate. Q-FIN machines can also be equipped with input or return conveyors, so only one operator can work on the machines.
Q-FIN offers dust extractors – WES3000 or WES6000 – which are suitable to deburring machines.
