CIDAN F
Metal folding machine CIDAN F is fast and reliable machine. Reinforced side frames insure steady guiding of the clamping beam and folding beam. The clamping beam is eccentric driven which eliminates wear and tear during movement as well as providing the best possible opening and closing speeds. The eccentric drive eliminates adjustment of parameters during the life of machine, which insures long life on the clamping motor. When clamping, the eccentric enables very high clamping pressure, which is a great advantage when closing hems.
The PROLINK W program is developed specifically for CIDAN folding machines. It offers many possibilities and is easy to use. Interactive graphic pictures are shown to the operator with instructions like rotate or flip the part, a condition to correctly being able to produce complicated details. In Standard PROLINK W has 15.6” screen. It is possible to store many programs in the control system or on a USB stick as well. Every program can be saved with a graphical icon, with name and information. The PROLINK W calculates cut size and automatically creates a program. The finished part is shown with its actual folding sequence. The touch screen is mounted on a rotating bracket for optimal viewing. With the OFFLINE software as option, programming can be completed in the office away from the machine.
The EGS back gauge has one servo motor and belt drives on both sides, and it takes less than two seconds to get an exact position between 2 and 1020 mm. First row stop units are made of spring steel as standard. All the stop units can drop down automatically to avoid collision when the material needs to be rotated on the table. As option it is possible to order other back gauge table FLEXIBLE which is 1550 mm – 4200 mm long (more details in section of option).
The folding machine has three beams: upper clamping beam, folding beam and lower beam. Each of it has his own tooling. The upper beam is equipped with a straight rail divided in 3-5 segment. This allows quick and easy changing and lowers replacement costs in the event of damage. The F Series comes as standard with 3 sets of folding beam widths; 7 mm, 10 mm and 15 mm. The solid lower beam tool will prevent any sensitive or light gauge material from getting damaged, scratched or indentations during clamping.
Options
This software offers a possibility to create bending programs at any computer while operator can use folding machine for bending operations.
This is a strong and stable back gauge with a depth of 1550 mm. Thanks to strong legs and a smart design, it can handle sheets up to 160 kg. The back gauge is equipped with dual servo motors, ball screws and linear guides for highest precision and repeatability. The back gauge speed enables the productivity to increase and at the same time, decreases the costs of your forming operation. Front stop units are made of spring steel as standard. The stop units can be dropped down automatically in every program row, which prevents any collision with the stop units when the sheet needs to be rotated.
The back gauge FLEXIBLE can be optionally extended in three areas – from the left, from the right and in the middle (different combinations are possible):
- Up to 3300 mm total length of back gauge
- Up to 4200 mm total length of back gauge
Brushes on the back gauge are ideal when positioning sheets of sensitive material such as aluminium and stainless steel. Option is available only for FLEXIBLE back gauge.
XSPACE is the folding beam with an indented angle below the folding point which gives extra space around the tools. The 15 mm extra space below the folding beam rail allows you to fold trapezoid profiles, z-profiles, and hat profiles. All the machine’s features function as normal. The XSPACE-beam is of course equipped with crowning for zero angle deviations for long profiles. There are three different folding beam rails available for XSPACE: 10, 12 and 25 mm.
Conical bending function uses angled gauge positioning. It is a useful advanced feature for making ridge plates, eaves fascia boards and façade moldings that can now be overlapped and joined without trimming. You can even easily make overlapping capping strips for doors or entrances where upper and lower measurements are different. All calculations could be done with PROLINK control system. Max conicity 5 mm/1000 mm. Option is available only for FLEXIBLE back gauge.
