Does stress make you tired? The same thing happens with the sheet metal after cutting with laser or plasma. To achieve the best result in further metal processing the tension must be removed form metal parts. This is because tension-free sheets are a precondition of achieving the absolute best quality in downstream manufacturing processes when welding, bending, or assembling. Precise leveling with a roller leveling machine produces sheets that are level and largely free of stresses.
KOHLER sheet metal leveling machines could work with small parts with a maximum width of up to 400 mm and a thickness of 0.2-3.5 mm, as well as with large metal products – up to 3500 mm wide and 2.5-66 mm thick. Quantity of rolls, diameter of rolls and the standard configuration of machine depend on part size. The roller frame adjustment of smaller machines (18P / 24P / 30P) is manual, but possible to have motorized adjustment optionally. For bigger machines the motorized roller frame adjustment is a standard configuration.
