CIDAN EVO DUO
CIDAN EVO DUO is a powerful mechanical shear equipped with two gear motors that distribute power and load optimally. The EVO DUO is available in two lengths – 3200 mm and 4100 mm, with a capacity up to 4 mm thickness stell for 3200 mm length machine (2,5 mm for 4100 mm length machine). The guillotine EVO DUO is equipped with two gear motors, pneumatic hold down beam, LED cutting light, flexible table with T-groove rails for table pans, blade gap adjustment. The electrical gear motors offer an impressive power. Drive system with eccentrics and pulldown rod connected to the upper blade beam. Material is clamped between the table and the pneumatic hold down beam. The hold down beam has a rubber piece to protect sensitive material from getting marks.
The EVO DUO shear is equipped with the CUTLINK control system. CUTLINK is the easy-to-use, fast and precise control system that makes sheet metal processing easy by scheduling and controlling every step and function in the production process. With the motorized back gauge placed directly on the stop arm there is low noise output, and the upper side of the guillotine is kept free. The program allows to write up to 10 operations with different measurements and quantities. As standard machine has 750 mm depth back gauge, but it is possible to choose 1000 mm back gauge as option.
The rear sheet support is pneumatically operated for maximum control. This allows to adjust the speed of the sheet support based on the material type. It is an advantage when working with large pieces or sensitive material such as zinc or copper. After the cut, the sheet support will drop the material to a return plate in front (return to sender). As option sheet return of guillotine could be changed to return to rear.
Options
The depth of back gauge – 1000 mm. Back gauge length depends on guillotine shear working length. Working principles are the same as in 750 mm back gauge.
This option means that cut off material delivers on rails with rolls to the rear of the machine. The back gauge is 800 mm and is equipped with fixed return plate, where cut off material shorter than 180 mm will be delivered to the front of the machine (return to sender).
There are available extra rails with rolls for sheet support with delivery to rear as well. For EVO DUO 32 – max 16 rails and for EVO DUO 41 – max 20 rails.

There are squaring arms with or without tilting stops available. When using tilting stop the cut off waste material will fall to the return plate. Mainly squaring arms are mounted on the left side. Following sizes of squaring arms are available:

Available squaring side for the right side – 450 mm.
Table pans of guillotine shear EVO DUO could be with or without steel ball transfers. Table pans are available in 440 mm and 690 mm widths and mounts on the T-groove rails. Table pans can be rearranged or removed to create space for other options like squaring arms or table extensions.
Adjustable angle gauge with graduated scale, to be mounted in the T-groove rails.
It offers as an alternative to fixed return plate for return to sender option. With material wagon possible to move cut material to another workstation easy. It can be picked up with a forklift as well. Features include lockable wheels and removable handle.
