LVD EASY-FORM

LVD EASY-FORM 

the Easy-Form Series are smart, highly accurate bending machine trough the integration of advanced technology and software. Bending capacities from 80 tons to 640 tons. Press brakes up to 320 tons / 6 meters or 400 tons / 4 meters are designed and built utilizing a welded one-piece frame. Machined without repositioning, guaranteeing machine precision.  Hydraulic cylinders are machined from a solid steel billet. Machine is equipped with adaptive bending system EASY-FORM LASER (EFL), intuitive and intelligent TOUCH-B control system. CADMAN software available as option. EASY-FORM press brake could be equipped with interface for robot connection.

Adaptive bending system EASY-FORM LASER (EFL)

EASY-FORM LASER (EFL) guarantees the desired angle from the first bending operation. The angle measuring system consists of two laser scanners located on the front and back of the table below the die mounting surface. The unique aspect of EFL is that it uses V-die reference instead of sheet reference (LVD Patent). EFL rapidly measures up to 100 samples per second between the die and the sheet. As the bending sequence of the press brake is initiated, the EASY-FORM LASER system transmits the digital information in real time to the CNC control unit, which process it and immediately adjusts the depth to obtain the correct angle. The Unique design of the EFL system allows the machine to adapt to material variations such as sheet thickness, strain hardening and grain direction.

LVD STONE tooling

LVD’s STONE tooling is produced with a progressive radius on both sides of the v-die opening, allowing the material to flow into the die more evenly and with minimal friction. With LVD STONE tooling you have following advantages: reduced tool wear, tool interchangeability, reduced residue on stainless, improved material control, reduced tonnage requirements, symmetric bending.

Linear encoders

Double bed referenced encoders are connected to the bed in such a way that deformation of the side frames during bending does not influence the positioning accuracy of the upper beam (Y1-Y2). Furthermore, encoders are positioned in the center of cylinder and as close as possible to the center line. 

CNC Crowning

Sheet thickness, length, v-die opening, and material (tensile strength) data are entered into Touch-B. Force and related deflection of lower frame and ram are automatically determined. LVD’s CNC crowning ensures the ram and table are parallel during the bending operation.

Back gauge

The back gauge ensures correct positioning of the work piece in the machine, reducing overall cycle time and increasing productivity. LVD’s back gauge systems offer the ultimate flexibility in the production of both parallel and non-parallel flanges. There are two-axis back gauge (X, R) with manual Z-axis on EASY-FORM 6 model. EASY-FORM 9 has five-axis back gauge (X, R, Z1, Z2, X). The three point gauge fingers allow automatic calculation and setting of both the back gauge and side stop positions for accurate part production.
