LVD PPEB
Is smart, high accurate press brake with integration of advanced technology and software. The bending capacity varies from 80 to 640 tons, and working length from 2000 to 8100 mm. As all LVD press brakes PPEB has a rigid frame. Hydraulic cylinders are machined from a solid steel billet. Machine is equipped with intuitive and intelligent TOUCH-B control system, CADMAN as option. PPEB press brakes has huge options list, so it is possible to configure machine suitable for each customer. It is possible to increase distance between table and ram, gap. PPEB could be equipped with interface for robot connection.
Double bed referenced encoders are connected to the bed in such a way that deformation of the side frames during bending does not influence the positioning accuracy of the upper beam (Y1-Y2). Furthermore, encoders are positioned in the center of cylinder and as close as possible to the center line.
Sheet thickness, length, v-die opening, and material (tensile strength) data are entered into Touch-B. Force and related deflection of lower frame and ram are automatically determined. LVD’s CNC crowning ensures the ram and table are parallel during the bending operation.
The back gauge ensures correct positioning of the work piece in the machine, reducing overall cycle time and increasing productivity. LVD’s back gauge systems offer the ultimate flexibility in the production of both parallel and non-parallel flanges. There are two-axis back gauge (X, R) with manual Z-axis on PPEB-4 and PPEB-5 models. PPEB-8 models have five-axis back gauge (X, R, Z1, Z2, X). The three point gauge fingers allow automatic calculation and setting of both the back gauge and side stop positions for accurate part production.
